It has been a MINUTE since I last posted and lemme tell you - it has been one heck of a journey over the last decade!  So many life challenges I've overcome which is the reason I have taken this hiatus.  Sure I've been playing a few shows here and there but honestly right now feels like a NEW BEGINNING!  I have been blessed to have a team working with me and I feel like now... this is my time.

NEWS UPDATE!
You Da Light is my new single release and I'm currently prepping for my YOU DA LIGHT PROMO TOUR starting this Friday, April 19th 2024 at Guilt & Co in Gastown (Vancouver, BC) 7pm.  Doors 6:30pm.  This summer I'll be hitting the road to promo my song and my sound.  Looking so forward to connecting with my audiences!  

I was recently featured on CBC as a rising artist in BC on Vibin with Rohit Joseph!  That was lovely and a beautiful way to be introduced accross Canada!

Have you ever found yourself to be spiralling from situations, relations, energy, unexpected events, etc?  Reeling, overthinking, heart pain and shutting down?

... only to have everything start to turn right side up and come back into alignment ten times more quickly than it fell out?

I have been reminded to trust that I am protected, carried and to trust that the Universe has my back.  Sometimes I think that she purposely set things up so that my deep shadows would come to the surface...so that I could confront them.  Well.  That's exactly what happened.

I have had numerous clarifying conversations; I'll even go as far as to say healing.  It happened. 3 in a row.  3 seems to often be the magic number.  111.  and then realignment grows.  heaviness falls away.  and the phoenix rises.

I am reminded to use my voice.  To speak boldly into the uncomfortable and to walk toward that which allows me to grow, to learn and to evolve.

We seem to be at a crossroads.  Across the board.  Internally + externally.  Heart, mind, body + spirit.  Shadows coming to the surface to be healed.  A time of deep reflection and really facing the things we have been carrying with us.  Some of it we don't want to look at...but it's time.  Many of us have found ourselves to be stuck in behaviour and response patterns that were instilled in us early on in life.  Be it trauma or whatever may have occurred.  It's time to really face it head on so that our souls can move more into alignment, to serve with the purpose we actually came here to serve.   I have gotten lost along the way and have made some choices that have harmed myself and also hurt others.  But I cannot afford to sit in guilt or shame.  I have to forgive myself, recognize my own part and keep going.  My prayer is that others can find it in their own hearts to see me and to know that I am learning and growing.  As we shift there are going to be changes.  Some people will distance themselves from us and others will want to come closer because they see the depth of good in us and ultimately support us in our Soul's journey.  Some may keep their distance while ALSO supporting our soul's journey.  We can't force anything or anyone.  It's gotta unfold naturally.   What I DO know about myself is that I have good intentions but I also know that the deep wounding I carry has gotten in the way one too many times and it's time to step it up and make some changes.  It's time to integrate those shadowy pieces so that I can come to more internal balance in my soul.  This is not about calling people monsters nor is it about making people wrong or bad.  When I speak of unity and love, those aren't just words...they are prayers.  For me, it's gonna come out through my music.  Like phases of the moon, so are the seasons of our lives.  And so it is.
